About

Rustic & refined

THE AURORA is a beautifully restored inn set on 3.5 acres, comprising five charming buildings. The main structure, originally built in 1885, houses four guest rooms, including two spacious two-bedroom suites. In addition to the guest accommodations, the inn offers inviting common areas, including a cozy living room with a stunning fireplace, a coffee bar, and a front porch with classic rocking chairs—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the breathtaking mountain views. The living room and coffee bar areas provide seating for up to 18 people, creating a perfect space for socializing or enjoying family game night. With a variety of games available, it's an ideal spot to gather by the fire and make lasting memories with loved ones.

Behind the inn, a rustic two-story barn has been converted into two accommodations: the Crawford Suite and the Pinkham Room. These cozy spaces overlook the grounds, featuring an in-ground pool, barrel sauna, and gas firepit—perfect for relaxing outdoors.

Beyond the pool, a separate building houses three additional rooms: Carrigain, Parker, and Langdon, each offering a peaceful retreat with comfortable amenities.

Further down the property, six guest suites are arranged in a motel-style layout, each with one or two beds, private baths, and gas fireplaces. Two suites also have kitchenettes for added convenience.

A detached guest cottage, Saco, sits near the entrance, providing a private retreat with its own bath, allowing guests to enjoy both privacy and easy access to the property’s main features. Each accommodation offers a unique, comfortable stay with a variety of options to suit all preferences.

The property offers a range of amenities, including an in-ground pool, a barrel sauna, and two fire pits. It borders the Bear Notch trail system, providing easy access to hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling. Within a 5-minute drive, guests can reach Attitash/Bear Peak for winter sports. In the summer, the nearby Saco River is a popular spot for tubing. The coffee bar provides light continental breakfast like oatmeal, fresh fruits, protein bars, occasional fresh pastries and coffees — all available while supplies last. Please note that additional meal options are not available.
